When Will We Know If Allah Is Pleased With Us? The Answer May Surprise You

thecekodok

Have you ever felt exhausted from trying your best in life and wondered:

"Is Allah pleased with me?"

It's a question many believers silently carry in their hearts.

We pray, we struggle, we repent, we try to become better people. Yet deep down, we still wonder whether our efforts are enough.

The reality is that Allah has already told us something important about this life.

This world was never meant to be a place of comfort alone. It is a test.

As Allah says in the Quran, He created life and death to test which of us performs the best deeds.

Every challenge we face is part of that examination.

Sometimes Allah tests us with wealth.

Sometimes He tests us with poverty.

Sometimes with success.

Sometimes with failure.

Sometimes with health.

Sometimes with pain and loss.

The real question is not how difficult the test is.

The real question is:

Will we continue to be faithful servants of Allah no matter what happens?

A wealthy person is tested through gratitude.

A poor person is tested through patience.

A leader is tested through responsibility.

A parent is tested through the upbringing of their children.

Every situation in life is a different examination paper.

When Allah commands us to pray, do we pray?

When Allah commands us to give charity, do we give?

When Allah commands us to honour our parents, do we honour them?

When Allah entrusts us with responsibilities, do we protect that trust?

These are the answers we write every day through our actions.

Many people ask how they can measure Allah's pleasure.

The truth is that we may not know with certainty while we are still alive.

Think about a student taking an exam.

The student does not know the final result during the examination.

Only after the examination ends are the results revealed.

Life is similar.

As long as we are alive, our test continues.

This is why Islam teaches us humility.

No matter how many good deeds we perform, we should never become arrogant.

We should never assume that our place in Paradise is guaranteed.

Likewise, we should never condemn others as if we know their final destination.

Only Allah knows the true condition of every heart.

The story of Prophet Ayyub (AS) teaches us this lesson beautifully.

Despite losing his health, wealth, and family, he remained devoted to Allah.

His patience became a timeless example for humanity.

True contentment (redha) is not passive surrender.

It does not mean sitting back and doing nothing.

Rather, it means accepting Allah's decree while continuing to strive, improve, and contribute goodness to the world.

Allah wants us to be people who bring mercy, benefit society, protect families, and leave a positive impact on humanity.

The goal is not merely to survive life.

The goal is to make life meaningful.

The day we finally discover whether Allah is pleased with us is the day we meet Him.

Until then, our duty remains simple:

Stay sincere.

Stay humble.

Keep improving.

Keep serving.

Keep obeying Allah.

And never stop seeking His mercy.

Because every day we wake up is another opportunity to write a better answer in the examination of life.

May Allah guide us all to the path that earns His pleasure, forgiveness, and eternal success.
