Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stressed that any Israelis found involved with the Network School in Forest City will be deported immediately if investigations confirm their presence.
He stressed that Malaysia does not recognise Israel and will not allow such a thing to happen.
According to Anwar, investigations are being conducted by relevant agencies to investigate the alleged involvement of Israelis in the program. If there is any violation of the law or entry requirements into the country, strict action will be taken.
Previously, Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi called for a thorough investigation into the Network School operation. The investigation covers the identity of the participants, nationality, use of second passports, type of immigration pass, purpose of entry into Malaysia and the actual status of the school's operation.
The Johor government has also asked the Higher Education Ministry, the Digital Ministry and relevant agencies to check whether Network School complies with the law and registration requirements in Malaysia.
Johor stressed that it will not allow any party to use the state as a base for activities that undermine national sovereignty and Malaysia's interests.
