Indonesia continues to strengthen its position in the digital asset industry when five financial technology (fintech) companies under the Shariah Crypto initiative signed a strategic partnership with PT Central Finansial X (CFX) to develop a more comprehensive sharia-compliant digital asset ecosystem.

The partnership is seen as an important step in combining blockchain technology with the country's regulatory framework to meet the growing demand for digital investments based on Islamic principles.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by DynastyCapital, Orbitum, AriesTech, Asyah and Peksindo in conjunction with the Menara Shariah & INCEIF University Symposium 2026 at Menara Shariah, PIK 2, Banten.

The initiative comes as the number of crypto investors in Indonesia has surpassed 22 million people, reflecting the rapid growth of the country's digital asset industry.

Through this partnership, all parties will develop a platform that combines digital asset management, tokenization and asset rating services based on sharia principles in a transparent, professional and regulatory-compliant ecosystem.

Founder and CEO of DynastyCapital.id, David Cornelis Mokalu said the collaboration with CFX is an initial step to connect blockchain innovation with the regulated digital asset market, in addition to accelerating the development of safer and more accessible Sharia-compliant crypto products and services for the community.

Each company plays its own role in developing the ecosystem, including:

DynastyCapital

Developing Sharia-compliant digital asset products and services.

Acting as a link between blockchain technology and the regulated digital asset market.

Orbitum

Building a tokenization system for Sharia-compliant fixed income instruments.

Including the tokenization of Indonesian Sukuk Negara (SBSN).

AriesTech

Converting real world assets such as stocks and gold into digital tokens using blockchain technology.

The goal is to facilitate investment and increase transparency of asset ownership.

Asyah

Developing a financing platform based on the Sharia Restricted Investment Account (SRIA) concept through tokenization.

Helping to channel funds to productive economic sectors.

Also selected as one of the top 10 startups in the OJK Fintech Startup Accelerator 2026.

Peksindo

Provides crypto asset rating and screening services based on sharia principles.

Uses eight evaluation criteria to help investors objectively identify sharia-compliant assets.

As a continuation of the collaboration, the five companies also plan to collaborate with IDRX, a stablecoin backed by the Indonesian rupiah, to facilitate transaction settlement in the sharia-compliant digital asset ecosystem.

The move is expected to strengthen technology development, increase market education and improve digital asset governance in line with regulations set by Indonesian authorities.
