Facebook Malaysia Targets Over 300 Local Traders With An Allocation Of RM3.2 Million

 To the knowledge of Facebook Malaysia has launched the latest program, Small Business Grant with an allocation of RM 3.2 million to support more than 300 traders affected by the pandemic.


It is well known that small business conditions are at a critical level when they are the mainstay of the country's economy with Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of 38.9%, 48.4% employment and 17.9% for export business.


Malaysian Facebook director Nicole Tan explained that they will work to develop digital needs to support the business to stay grounded with new norms.


Among the efforts that have been carried out to help small and medium enterprises include Facebook Shops and Facebook Business Suites.


Each Small Business Grant amounts to RM9,400, including RM5,900 cash and RM3,500 advertising option credit.



For interested traders, you can start applying starting today, October 6 until October 12, 2020.


If your business does not have a Facebook account, do not worry because it is not included in the conditions imposed.


Traders also need to make sure the business has at least 2 to 50 employees and has been in operation for more than a year, including facing pandemic challenges.
