Watch out! ‘Abah’ Wants to Use Rattan!

Today, many are waiting for the message from the Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in relation to the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic and there are even some who predict that the country will be re-imposed with a movement control order or lockdown.

As is well known, Malaysia has again recorded a sharp increase in the number of Covid-19 infections. More worrying is that today recorded the highest number of infection cases since the beginning of its spread in March, which is 691 cases.

In the message, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin closed his speech by issuing a warning that the authorities would act more decisively to curb the spread of the dangerous epidemic.

It is common knowledge that the Malaysian prime minister has been called 'abah' since he held the post because his personality as a father is very popular with the people. Therefore, he also used the title in his speech just now.

Quoting his words, ‘sorry, if the harness has started using rattan.’

In addition, he revealed that Malaysia is not yet ready to implement lockdown and the only way to ensure people comply with the new norms is by stricter laws.

Therefore, the government will deploy more frontline workers to help by ensuring that the people comply with the new SOP as Malaysia continues to record an increase in the number of infection cases last week. If there are individuals who break the rules, they will be compounded.

In addition, large gatherings and others, including weddings will be discontinued. Therefore, they will hold discussions with the Ministry of Health if they need a new SOP.
