The President of the United States (US) today appeared to accuse the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) and Pfizer of deliberately delaying the announcement of COVID-19 to deny his victory in getting the vaccine.

Donald Trump tweeted on his Twitter account, stating that the USFDA and Democrats did not want the vaccine victory in his favor by announcing the news five days after the election.

On Monday, Pfizer announced that a vaccine developed with BioNTech was found to be 90% effective in preventing COVID-19 infection.

In fact, the figure also claimed that the vaccine would not be available for another four years if Joe Biden was president and the USFDA did not as easily confirm the availability of the vaccine for general use.

However, the allegations are not supported by any evidence even though the election results have lifted Joe Biden as president starting 2021.

He further explained, “Pfizer will announce the vaccine after the election because they do not have the courage to do so. Similarly, the USFDA should announce in advance not for political purposes but to save lives! ”

In any case, the new US president of the 2021 session, Joe Biden in a statement thanked those involved in vaccine development and urged the US population to adhere to the COVID-19 prevention protocol before the start of vaccination soon.
