Trump Wants To Sell Fighter Jets To UAE!

The Donald Trump administration has submitted its intention to Congress to sell 50 fighter jet fighters, the Lockheed Martin F-35 II to the United Arab Emirates, involving $ 10 billion in sales.

The sale follows the signing of the Abrahamic Agreement, an agreement that forged diplomatic relations between Israel and the UAE, which has opened up many opportunities in trade, technology and security cooperation.

In addition, the UAE for many years is rumored to have long been monitoring the F-35, the most advanced fighter jet platform on the market. But, their main resistance is Israel, which has a qualitative military advantage (QME) by the U.S. at the same time being able to gain technological advantage from its neighbors and exclusive access to some of the best weapons in the United States.

Meanwhile, Israeli defense ministers last week said the country would not oppose Washington to sell certain weapons systems to the UAE.

If approved, the sale would make the UAE the second country in the region to have a fifth generation system.

In addition, the UAE allegedly wants to use the sales potential to overcome the Iranian threat.

However, no agreement has yet been reached. This is because it requires the consent of congress and bureaucracy, as well as involving security issues such as ensuring that there is no very detailed information about the capabilities or mission of the platform that can be accessed by the enemy.
