President Donald Trump is now under increasing pressure after inciting a group of protesters who stormed the Capitol yesterday.
He faces calls from his own cabinet members and Democrats to resign or dismiss him by implementing the 25th Amendment.
Earlier, we reported that there was a discussion among cabinet members on the amendment to the 25th Amendment and it turned out that among the individuals involved were Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
In addition, U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi also urged Vice President Mike Pence to use the amendment and argued that Trump was a very dangerous person following the riots by his supporters at the Capitol.
However, Pence reportedly refused to support the constitutional amendment to remove President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives are reportedly considering a faster process to oust President Trump, CNN reported.
Some sources claim that the Democratic leadership will take this step if Mike Pence refuses to implement the 25th amendment to remove Trump from his constituency.
Earlier, Trump for the first time admitted in his own mouth that the administration of President-elect Joe Biden would take office on January 20 after Congress confirmed Joe Biden's victory.
