Social media network Snapchat yesterday revealed that they have permanently blocked US President Donald Trump from the platform. For all you know, Trump's access to social media has been largely cut off since a group of his supporters violently stormed the Capitol in Washington DC in a January 6 deadly attack.
In this regard, the company is worried that Trump could use his Snapchat account to cause chaos ahead of the inauguration of Joe Biden as the new US president.
After attacks on the Capitol by Trump supporters, social media including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube began to ban it from using their platforms.
However, the move has angered Trump supporters including Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton who demanded that Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google and Twitter explain why Trump was not welcomed on their platform.
