YouTube suspended the channel of US President Donald Trump for at least a week and possibly for a longer period of time.
According to CNN, YouTube did so after Trump uploaded a video that sparked recent violence.
The video, however, has been deleted.
YouTube plans to review the results within a week.
In addition, YouTube also plans to take steps to turn off the video comment section.
"After a detailed review and concerns about the potential for terrorism, we deleted new content uploaded by the Trump channel and issued a warning for violating our policies for inciting violence.
"As a result, according to our warning system, the channel is prohibited from uploading new videos or doing live broadcasts for seven days and may be extended," a YouTube spokesman said in a statement.
Earlier, Twitter and Facebook suspended Trump's account permanently.
