As the crypto sector grows with the addition of large firms, Visa is reported to support crypto currency trading.
Visa CEO Al Kelly said the plan was part of their efforts to work with several crypto exchange platforms and wallets.
Clearly, the steps taken will make it easier for consumers to buy cryptocurrencies using Visa credentials or buy fiat by converting to cash with Visa credentials at any of the 70 million businesses that support Visa.
Kelly also explained that in the latest segment, fiat-supported digital currencies will also be included, including stablecoins and central bank digital currency (CBDC).
The development of this payment innovation has the potential to be used in global trade just like any other fiat currency.
So far, Kelly said 35 organizations are interested in issuing Visa cards. Among them, Crypto.com, Blockfi, Fold and Bitpanda.
