 Here are some of the important economic data that will be the focus of the market throughout the week.


German Gross Domestic Product Data (Tuesday 2.00pm): The final reading for Germany’s economic growth as a major European economy is expected to remain unchanged after the initial reading slipped to -1.7% for the first quarter of 2021.



German Business Climate Data IFO Survey (Tuesday 4.00pm): Assessing the current health of the German economy, survey data by ifo is also the focus of investors. The survey reading is expected to continue to maintain the upward trend towards 100.0 points.


New Zealand Central Bank Policy Meeting (Wednesday 10.00am): The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) will hold its third monetary policy meeting this year on Wednesday with the expectation that interest rates will remain unchanged at a low of 0.25%.
