One of the Spanish banking giants, BBVA reports that they decided to launch Bitcoin trading and storage services for their personal clients.
Based on the company's official announcement, the implementation of this crypto ecosystem will undergo testing for six months before the project is widely carried out.
The new service only involves Bitcoin trading and storage services, and will expand those services to other cryptocurrencies in the near future. So far, it is only available to customers in Switzerland. The bank informed that crypto regulations in Switzerland are well managed.
According to the CEO of BBVA Switzerland, the gradual launch allows BBVA Switzerland to test service operations, strengthen security and most importantly be able to attract more investors to invest in crypto assets.
In addition it also allows customers to monitor crypto investments as well as other investments made with the bank. At the same time simplifies the customer in terms of trade, statements of accounts and taxes.
BBVA's Bitcoin trading and custody service, is scheduled to be officially launched on June 21. The service also allows the conversion of crypto assets into euros and other currencies.
The Bitcoin price is currently trading at the price level of $ 36,859.03 per unit.
