Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob indicated that the whole of Malaysia is likely to emerge Phase Two of the National Rehabilitation Plan (PPN) in early August.

His statement is supported following the performance of the National Covid-19 Immunization Program (PICK) for the rate of individuals who have received two doses of vaccine injections has exceeded more than 10% as planned.

This development takes time for the country to be on the right track in the process of moving from Stage One to Stage Two of VAT.

"This indicator is in line with the National Rehabilitation Plan which is expected to reach 10% vaccination rate of the population by the end of July."

Ismail Sabri also pointed out that to continue to thrive, it is not impossible for the country to be Level Two in early August.

Based on PICK data, individuals who had completed two doses of vaccine injections had reached 11.8% on July 13th.

Perlis, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang have moved to Phase Two of the VAT on July 5 and followed by Penang on July 7, Sabah (July 10) and Sarawak yesterday (July 14).

Each state should have three main indicators for the phase transition process.

Three indicators for opening into Phase Two are the number of daily Covid-19 cases dropped below 4,000, the rate of device use in the intensive care unit (ICU) was at a moderate level and the rate of reception of two doses of vaccine injection was a difference — 10% of the population.
