For your information, the Alonzo hard fork is one of the innovations made by Cardano developers in introducing the latest features to the network.

It was launched on May 27 before the smart contract was fully launched, which was at the end of Alonzo.

For the record, Alonzo broadcasts by phase. It started with Alonzo Blue which took place at the end of May and has now entered Alonzo White according to the set date.

In this phase, the Cardano network will see an increase in the number of testers (testers) and more functions implemented.

Next, Alonzo will move to the Purple phase, where it is expected to be available to stake pool operators (SPOs) and pioneers.

Ending these three phases of Alonzo, the smart contract will operate immediately and end the Goguen era.

This also means, Cardano will develop a decentralized financial sector (DeFi) and compete with other networks such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain (BSC), and Solana.

In fact, its founder Charles Hoskinson did not hesitate to introduce the non-fungible token (NFT) market once Alonzo expired.
