A paradigm shift for Senheng New Retail Bhd.
Senheng New Retail Bhd, a local electrical and electronics (E&E) retailer has received approval from the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) to be listed on the Main Market of Malaysia Securities Bhd.
Senheng was established in 1989 and to date has 104 stores throughout Malaysia which are fully supported by various online retail platforms.
Senheng is expected to start listing on the Exchange in January 2022.
According to Senheng executive chairman Lim Kim Heng, the company was among the first to apply the new retail and digitization model where all aspects of operations were enhanced with technological tools that optimized their business strategies.
He added that Senheng has more than 280 leading E&E brands featuring a comprehensive range of digital appliances, audio visual, home appliances and related products.
Meanwhile, Senheng recorded encouraging growth for their financial performance despite some constraints of movement control orders.
