TRON (TRX) founder Justin Sun announced his retirement after accepting an invitation to be appointed Grenada ambassador.
The news was uploaded through his new Twitter account last Friday.
I have accepted the invitation and appointment of the Grenadian Gov. to officially serve as the Ambassador, Permanent Representative of #Grenada to the World Trade Organization in #Geneva. I will be working in full capacity to represent Grenada’s national interests, to the @WTO https://t.co/9Ke37rD7KQ

However, TRX’s performance dropped by up to 8% after the announcement. Similarly, JUST (JST) decreased by more than 3% and BitTorrent (BTT) decreased by more than 2%.
According to Sun again, he is not leaving TRON instead he is just no longer active as CEO of TRON and will stay in touch with the community for more advanced blockchain development.
Less than half an hour later, Sun informed that the Tron network has entered a new era with fully decentralized functionality.
It is understood that the three original nodes: “justinsuntron”, “BitTorrent”, and “µTorrent” have been removed from Tron and the network is run by 27 nodes supervised by its community.
(1/6) ✉️Dear #TRONICS, developers, and all my friends:
I am thrilled to share with everyone about the significant milestone of the #TRON protocol and my appointment as the Ambassador.

At the time of writing, BTT is down over 4% in 24 hours and is currently trading at $ 0.002594. Meanwhile, JST (-4.41%) and TRX (-4%) recorded trading values of $ 0.05431 and $ 0.07823.
Having become Grenada’s ambassador, let’s hope Sun doesn’t forget that he is still ‘responsible’ for advancing the entire Tron ecosystem.
