Non-fungible token (NFT) Mega Mutant Serum (or pronounced: M3 Mutant Serum) has received tremendous response lately.
Serum #69 was sold at a value of 1,542,069 ETH (equivalent to $ 5.8 million, RM24.3 million), making its price twice as high as the previous record, 888.88 ETH and the most expensive in the history of Bored Ape serum sales.
It is said that the serum belongs to the founder of blockchain service provider company, Chain; Deepak Thapliyal.
What is Mega Mutant Serum?
This serum is part of the Bored Ape Chemistry Club project and the amount is very limited at 10,000 NFT Mutant Serum.
The NFT airdrop can be done to all NFT Bored Ape owners who want a ‘change’ to the collection and add to its uniqueness.
The series has three types of serums where M1 and M2 Mutant Serum are able to change the original ape but still retain its previous characteristics.
For Mega Mutant Serum, this ape change will be something unexpected, making this collection more unique with the concept of "mutant" and gaining high demand in the market.
It is said that a total of 7,500 M1 serum, 2,492 M2 serum, and 8 Mega Mutants have been marketed.
However, these serums will expire once used.
