The growth of the cryptocurrency market is undeniably so rapid that it is expected that the number of users of these digital assets will increase to one billion by the end of 2022.
Based on records from Crypto.com, so far cryptocurrency users have recorded a total of 300 million. This means that with only 11 months left, the number will increase to one billion.
Not only that, the global crypto population also grew 178% over 2021, rising from 106 million in January to 295 million in December.
For the record first half of 2021, the acceptance of crypto is very brisk driven by the participation of the world's giant institutions - Tesla and Mastercard.
However for the second half of the same year saw relatively slow growth but still surpassed the record in 2020 with an increase of up to 37.5%.
For the record, in the same period for 2020, cryptocurrency acceptance was only 33.3%, making the growth difference between these two timelines as much as 13%.
