Warner Music has partnered with The Sandbox in an effort to hold a virtual concert in the metaverse.
It is understood WM has bought the estate in The Sandbox where it will play a role as a space for famous Warner artists to perform live in the metaverse.
The list of artists who will be involved is not yet identified but WM is a music company that owns a line -up of international celebrities including Ed Sheeran, Elektra, Erato Lizzo, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
For the record, this is the first time WM has collaborated with a responsible entity in metaverse and non-fungible tokens (NFT).
Indirectly, the estate acquired by WM is also hybrid in nature - combining a musical theme park and a concert hall.
The Sandbox has a strong influence where many big names have chosen to partner with this metaverse. For example, Snoop Dogg, Steve Aoki, and Adidas.
Most recently, The Sandbox has teamed up with several Hong Kong industry professionals for the establishment of Mega City.
At the time of writing, its native token - SAND posted a trading value of $ 3.45 (RM14.50), soaring over 12% in 24 hours.
However, these assets require a price increase of at least over 62% to break the all-time highs (ATH) recorded on November 25, 2021.
