Gucci Is Now Based In Metaverse The Sandbox!

 Just last month Gucci launched its first non-fungible token (NFT) project, ‘SuperGucci’ and this time the world’s biggest brand has joined The Sandbox metaverse.


It is understood Gucci has purchased a plot at The Sandbox at an undisclosed price to produce a themed virtual experience, inspired by the Gucci Vault platform.

For the record, Gucci Vault is a website that lists Gucci -themed NFT items and vintage bags.


Two -pronged, the brand does so to market its fashion concept in the metaverse space where players of The Sandbox can buy and wear on their avatars in virtual reality (VR) games.


Earlier in December 2020, Gucci had already collaborated with two Roblox developers to launch a formal clothing collection.


Not only that, they have also created a virtual space at Roblox, known as the ‘Gucci Garden Experience’.
