Mastercard has offered its latest product - a consulting service that focuses on digital and crypto currency payments, helping the growth of the central bank's digital currency (CBDC).
It is understood that the latest product offering covers all aspects including cryptocurrency and non-fungible token (NFT) strategies up to cryptocurrency cards and loyalty activities for banking and retail institutions.
At the same time, Mastercard stands ready to help banks explore the ability to develop and introduce CBDCs using its testing platform.
Most recently, the world's payment services giant has partnered with Amber, Bitkub, and Coinjar to produce crypto cards for consumers in Asia.
Not only that, Mastercard will also integrate with Coinbase's NFT platform.
While there is still no official launch date, many assume the platform will be OpenSea’s closest competitor.
