It's fun to have a problem with this Tesla, if you don't know how to finish it.

Tesla Inc. has recalled more than 817,000 units of its vehicles in the United States (US) due to the issue of seat belt warning bells not working when drivers are not wearing seat belts while the car is moving.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that Model S and Model X from 2021-2022, Model 3 from 2017-2022 and Model Y from 2020-2022 have failed to comply with federal motor vehicle safety standards on 'Occupant Crash Protection' as a result of the warning bell not working.

Tesla has responded by conducting an over-the-air (OTA) software update to address the issue.

Earlier, Tesla had told NHTSA that they were not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the issue.

According to documents filed by Tesla with NHTSA, the South Korea Automobile Testing & Research Institute brought the issue to Tesla on Jan. 6.

Tesla says software problems may be the cause of warning bells not working when vehicles are turned on under certain conditions.

Tesla added that the issue was limited to situations where the bell was interrupted during the driving cycle and before the seat belt was worn, besides the issue did not affect the bell which could be heard from being activated when the vehicle exceeded 22 kilometers per hour and the driver's seat belt failed to detect it. installed.

Tesla continues to be under scrutiny from U.S. regulators and has issued several recall calls in recent months.

On Tuesday, Tesla recalled 53,822 units of vehicles with the company’s Full Self-Driving (Beta) software that may allow some models to make ‘slow stops’ and not stop completely at intersections posing safety risks.
