The Shiba Inu Community (SHIB) is back optimistic about Shiba Inu’s direction in the second quarter of 2022, when plans on the Metaverse will begin to be implemented. A few days ago, Milkshake revealed that the developer team is working on upcoming projects such as the Shib burn portal, Shibarium and Shibaswap V2.
The latest report states that, a team named Unification is working to realize the Shibarium project with Shiba Inu. They informed it is now close to achieving success. Not only that, they also announced that Shibarium TestNet will be launched in the next few months. After testnet is launched then the ‘public beta’ version will follow.
Unfortunately, Unification did not provide details on the launch date. Based on the planning, Shibarium will serve as a premium L2 for Shiba Inu and its community tokens. It also added that the project will enable lower cost and faster transactions.
The team revealed that they are also working on Alpha TestNet. It will be used to develop the tools needed for end -user interaction. The list of tools includes token transfer bridges, wallets and many more.
So far, the price of Shiba Inu has shown a ‘downtrend’ in the last 24 hours. However, it was found that the group of ‘whales’ were increasing their holdings. Based on Whalestats, SHIB tokens are in the top 10 charts as the most purchased tokens in the last 24 hours.
Despite the decline in prices, SHIB’s trading volume has increased by 39%. Meanwhile, Shibarmy also helped the expansion of SHIB by burning large numbers. According to Shibburn, more than 185 million SHIB tokens were sent to the ‘dead wallet’ within 24 hours.
