World football star and icon, Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a cooperation agreement with the world's leading crypto exchanger, Binance.
The multi-year cooperation agreement is understood to be aimed at promoting non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to football fans around the world.
Citing a statement from Binance, the agreement also includes a joint venture in producing NFT colleges with the football star for the company's NFT platform to be launched next year.
Meanwhile, Binance Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Changpeng Zhao, expressed his excitement and praised Ronaldo's achievements in the world of football.
Zhao, who also labels Ronaldo as a football icon, said Binance was looking forward to giving fans of the football star ‘exclusive access’ to connect with the Portuguese captain.
On the other hand, Ronaldo said he was very excited about the collaboration and could not wait to connect more closely with the fans through NFT.
For your information, this is not Ronaldo's first experience with NFT technology, where he was previously awarded a JUV Token, the official fan token for the Juventus F.C team when he scored a goal.
