Daniel Ricciardo, McLaren F1 racing car driver from Australia discussed his involvement in the cryptocurrency market during the Token2049 conference in Singapore with OKX CMO Haider Rafique.
He is also said to have appeared in OKX's latest ad with a McLaren MCL36 F1 racing car alongside it including highlighting the status of the cryptocurrency world.
According to Ricciardio, his friends are the reason he started to be more curious about the world of crypto.
As a result, he got involved with the OKX wallet and increased his knowledge related to the crypto market as well as studied the diversity offered by the digital asset.
Ricciardio is also confident that he can attract his fans to the crypto world due to OKX's efforts to collaborate with McLaren at the Singapore and Japanese Grand Prix races.
According to Rafique, the cooperation of the crypto industry and Formula 1 allows innovation between sports, the blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrencies to continue to grow rapidly.
For the record, Formula 1 returns to Singapore's street circuit for the first time since 2019 with the street circuit closed until the full road closure takes effect on September 29.
Formula 1 will not only continue to make a joint marketing and advertising agreement with the biggest firm in the crypto world but OKX, a crypto exchanger and trading platform will become McLaren's main partner in May 2022 by signing an agreement.
