Metamask will offer a new method that makes it easier for users to buy cryptocurrency to lead the digital asset wallet industry.
Therefore, the financial platform that offers instant ACH settlements* Sardine will make an agreement with the blockchain technology company ConsenSys to allow Metamask users in the United States (US) to buy cryptocurrency with a bank account from the UI wallet.
*A feature that allows funds to be made available immediately in the end user's wallet before funds are received from ACH debit
The collaboration also allows Sardine to achieve its roadmap following the company's recent successful raising of $51.5 million in Series B funding led by a16z and backed by big names such as Visa and Google Ventures.
It is also understood that Metamask has previously partnered with Asset Reality to help users recover stolen cryptocurrency for free.
Meanwhile, Metamask users must comply with Sardine's mandatory KYC process if they wish to use the "Instant ACH" payment option which will be available in 48 US states, while Hawaii and New York will be accepted soon.
Explained, Sardine set purchase limits of $3,000 per day, $5,000 per week and $25,000 per month to prevent fraudulent activity.
According to ConsenSys, the instant payment offered by Sardine will be more effective than traditional payment systems that are often rejected when making card purchases.
He added that Sardine's infrastructure is used by major cryptocurrency companies such as FTX, Moon Pay and Autograph.
In the meantime, Metamask has launched Metamask Institutional (MMI), which is a wallet designed to allow users to engage in Web3 and decentralized finance (DeFi).
