Khazanah Nasional Bhd has held a series of meetings with French and Italian SWFs to explore cross-border collaborations in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).
Managing Director Datuk Amirul Feisal Wan Zakir informed that the discussions focused on how companies from Malaysia, France and Italy can collaborate in the face of global geopolitical changes.
Amirul Feisal also stated that the party is exploring collaborations in technological innovation, including mid-tier companies from both sides.
He also discussed that Khazanah has collaborated with national promotional institutions, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti from Italy for two years and Bpifrance from France for three years.
Khazanah recorded its highest annual return in 2024, with its time-weighted rate of return (TWRR) and net asset value (NAV) increasing to 24.6% compared to 5.7% in 2023.
