Britain and the United States (US) reached a $ 42 billion technological agreement on President Donald Trump's second official visit to the UK.
Agreement includes investment guarantees by global giants such as Microsoft to strengthen artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing and public nuclear energy.
The "Tech Prosperity Deal" package involves cooperation in the development of the AI model for the health sector, the expansion of quantum intelligence capabilities as well as the coordination of public nuclear projects, with the aim of supporting economic growth, scientific research and energy safety of both countries.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that the agreement could potentially shape the future of millions of people in both sides and to stimulate the UK economy.
The agreement was also seen as supporting Britain as an investment destination with a lightweight American regulation than the EU intervention approach.
Among the corporate commitments announced is NVIDIA, which will spread 120,000 GPU units across the UK as their largest participation in Europe so far, including collaboration projects with Openai and Microsoft in the "Stargate" project.
Microsoft has pledged to invest £ 22 billion to expand the cloud infrastructure and AI including supercomputer in Loughton, North-Timur London.
Meanwhile, Google has announced a £ 5 billion investment including a new data center at Waltham Cross and continued support for AI research through DeepMind.
