KNM Group Bhd faces possible delisting after Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd (Bursa Securities) rejected a proposed restructuring plan to remove its Practice Note 17 (PN17) status.

Trading in KNM Group’s securities on the Main Market has been suspended effective October 13, 2025, and the company is likely to be delisted on November 5, unless an appeal is filed on or before November 2, 2025.

If the company files an appeal within the stipulated period, the delisting of the company’s securities from Bursa Securities’ official list on November 5 will be postponed pending the outcome of the appeal.

However, Bursa Securities will still suspend trading in the company’s securities on October 13, 2025, even though the appeal outcome is still pending.

The company was also granted PN17 status in October 2022 after auditors cast doubt on KNM’s ability to continue operating as a going concern.

KNM's restructuring plan announced in August 2025 proposes the sale of Deutsche KNM GmbH, including key assets of Borsig GmbH worth 270 million euros (RM1.3 billion) to reduce debt.

Other proposed measures include the merger of four shares into one, a balance sheet restructuring and a reduction in share capital to RM275.97 million to cover accumulated losses.
