Caltex Malaysia now has a new Country Chairman, Leong Jee Wong, who brings over 27 years of experience in the energy industry to lead the company’s operations in Malaysia.
Previously, Leong was the fuels and lubricants manager in Singapore, overseeing the fuels and lubricants sales channel there.
He joined Caltex in 2005 and has built extensive experience across the company’s downstream businesses, including trading, commercial and industrial fuels, product supply and distribution, terminal operations, and lubricants sales across Southeast Asia.
Leong also served in Malaysia as the area transportation and operations manager from 2017 to 2020, giving him a deep understanding of the local supply chain and the Malaysian market.
In his new role, Leong said he will work closely with Caltex Malaysia’s retail partners, support the local community, provide affordable energy solutions and continue to strengthen the company’s reputation, while remaining true to Caltex’s core values and culture.
He described this appointment as an honour and hopes to continue the company's journey by making a positive impact on business and the community.
