A draft of a 14-point commercial and military peace agreement between the United States and Iran is reportedly set to be signed in Switzerland as early as Sunday. The shocking news, first revealed by the Mehr news agency, comes as world leaders prepare to attend the G7 Summit in Evian, France next week.

The terms of the draft document set strict conditions whereby final negotiations will only begin after Washington releases half of Iran's frozen international funds and lifts a full sea blockade. In return, the Tehran regime has formally committed to fully reopening the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days.

The draft MoU also outlines aggressive demands whereby all US military forces must withdraw from Iran's borders. In fact, the White House and its western allies are required to present an infrastructure reconstruction financing plan worth at least $300 billion to restore Iranian cities damaged by a series of bombings since February.

President Donald Trump confirmed the development, claiming the United States would reach a deal with Tehran, subject to final documentation. Trump also confirmed that he had held secret talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to ensure the final draft limits the regime's nuclear weapons capabilities.

The announcement of the draft sparked a surge in global financial markets on Friday. The pan-European Stoxx 600 stock index jumped 1.8%, while commodity markets breathed a sigh of relief as international Brent crude oil prices fell 1.75% on expectations that the supply chain for 25% of the world's maritime petroleum, previously blocked in the Strait of Hormuz, would be restored.
