Despite incurring high operating costs including staff salaries and performance bonuses, Mercedes still managed to record an extraordinary net profit.

At the same time, the team's total value is now estimated to reach US$6 billion, thus placing it among the most valuable motorsport organizations in the world.
Mercedes has also recorded record profits for three consecutive years, proving that its business model remains strong despite the fierce competition in Formula 1.
With Formula 1's continued popularity worldwide, Mercedes is seen as on track to become the first Formula 1 team to generate annual revenue of more than US$1 billion.
