Budget 2026: RM2.6 Billion to Uphold Islamic Faith!

The government has allocated RM2.6 billion in the 2026 Budget to strengthen the development of Islamic faith throughout the country.


This allocation includes efforts to strengthen religious institutions, the development of mosques and suraus, the training of religious officers and the implementation of Islamic dakwah and education programs.


According to a statement from the Ministry of Finance, the funds will also be channeled to the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (JAKIM), State Islamic Religious Councils and Islamic educational institutions to ensure that the implementation of the ummah development agenda can be carried out comprehensively and effectively.


The government reiterates its commitment to continue to make Islamic values ​​​​the core in the formation of a civil society, in line with the goals of national unity, well-being and prosperity.
